Is Mug Fill Less Than Half or More? | Puzzle 15

Question

There is a Mug with a cover paint and some coke in it. In this scenario, 2 brothers argued as follows...

Amit said: "This Mug of coke is more than half full"

For this,

Ankit Replied: "No it's not, it's less than half full".

Without any measuring implements and without removing any coke from the Mug, how can they easily determine who is correct? 

Solution

Tilt the Mug until the coke barely touches the lip of the Mug.

If the bottom of the Mug is visible then it is less than half full. 

If the Mug bottom is still completely covered by the coke, then it is more than half full.
